Our Commitment To Privacy
AmeriFace respects your privacy!  We will not rent, trade or sell your name or contact information.

The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected automatically or submitted by you on all AmeriFace-affiliated websites.

On some pages, you can request information and/or educational materials, register for organization-sponsored events, and/or become part of our national/international outreach team of volunteers. You might additionally request interaction with such volunteers. On some pages, you can submit information about other people, for example, information about your child who has a facial difference. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

Address
E-mail address
Phone number
Credit/Debit Card Information (for conference registration)
Status/facial difference
Etc.

The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself and/or your child to provide requested services. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can visit all AmeriFace-related websites with the confidence that your privacy is protected. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our websites and make sure we are meeting the needs of our clients. While the Organization monitors website visits and details such as operating systems, length of visit, pages visited, etc., we do not track any personal information through those means.

Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

When You Choose to Publish Your Information on the Internet
Many of our volunteers allow us to publish some or all of their contact information in our State Resource Guide for outreach purposes.  In addition, if you participate at our outreach forums at the Family-to-Family Connection, Crouzon Support Network, Goldenhar Syndrome Support Network and/or Goldenhar Support Network for Adults and/or any on-line outreach forums under the AmeriFace umbrella that may be established in the future, be aware that e-mail information and any other personal information you choose to send through the listserv is stored in the archives, which are accessible by the general public via the internet.  Use discretion when participating in these programs.

It is unethical for third parties to harvest your contact information from these sources for solicitation or any other purpose, either by manual or electronic means.  AmeriFace grants no permission to third parties to use contact information obtained under these circumstances.

While AmeriFace and its related entities assume no responsibility for third-party contact made using this information, you can report unauthorized use to us via email at info@ameriface.org.
